Ladies and Gentlemen

I feel pleasure to place before the donor Institutions and the public at large the Annual Report of the Activities of the Organisation for the financial year 2009-10. We are very thankful to our community, volunteers and management who are always involved in the grassroot –level in the Rural and Urban areas of Kolkata city and surrounding district of West Bengal. Our organization is undertaking various development and special education for the disabilities, related with social welfare, Health, Aids awareness and other programmes in the Rural and urban Areas of Kolkata,South and North 24 Parganas District of West Bengal. The volunteers of the organization visit the remote villages and exteriors to aware the people about their rights and duties and to engage the people in different training programmes. We work without any discrimination of caste, religion, creed, colour and gender.

We are thankful and appreciating the contribution of our President, Vice-President and the members. With new ideas we are planning to develop and strengthen our society. We are also planning to visit the remote areas and to help the people with disabilities in disaster and to provide necessary help in flooded areas. Our mission statement is transformational development and awareness of the people with disabilities through participatory practices on sustained basis. In this period our organization has undertaken and participated in various activities i.e. different vocational training programmes, plantation agricultural development programmes,women empowerment programmes,Health and family welfare programmes including homoeopathic and acupressure and others therapeutic management camps, environmental awareness programmes, Computer training programmes ,Educational programmes and rural development programmes. We are also focusing on the development of women, children, poor and various type of disabled persons i.e. Mentally Challenged, Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impaired, Autism and Visually Impaired etc.

We have collected and raised funds through local support and members support. We are thankful to such donors who have donated in our organization for development and to work on right path. We are in need of much financial support for the working in different fields, thus we are communicating to different ministries/institutions /agencies of state and central government.

We are always insisting in our programs operation that local participation of people must be assured and their willingness and option must be regarded and implemented on genuine ground. We think and hope that people should be empowered,so that they could chock out their plan, Organize plan and after implementation they could access and evaluate programme.

We are thankful to community, official and donors who are supporting us and also to our official's members & volunteers, who are working very hard.
